My client are an exciting sports retailer, who are leading on a global scale with thousands of stores worldwide. They are looking to expand their Data Engineering team, and you will play a vital part of the design, development and maintainance of scalable data pipelines.

You will:

• Data Platform Development: Create, develop, and sustain scalable data pipelines within our Snowflake environment, guaranteeing efficient data flow and storage.
• Workflow Management: Establish and manage data workflows using Prefect, ensuring dependable scheduling, orchestration, and monitoring of data tasks.
• Collaboration: Engage closely with data scientists, analysts, and fellow technology team members to fulfill the organization's data requirements.
• Data Integration: Consolidate data from diverse sources, ensuring uniformity and accessibility for reporting and analytics objectives.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor system performance, optimize data processes, and address any data-related challenges.
• Best Practices: Promote and implement best practices in data management, security, quality assurance, and privacy protection.
• Innovation: Continually explore novel tools, technologies, and methodologies to enrich the capabilities of the data platform
